Pink Laptop: Fujitsu LifeBook P8010 (Limited Edition)

The LifeBook P8010 is the latest ultraportable laptop from Fujitsu.

Black was the only color available for this laptop when it was first released in March 2008. One month the the release, the limited pink gold edition was announced in Taiwan. According to CAI Hui Si, the Associate Vice President (China Region) of Fujitsu, the reason behind the release of the limited edition, was to celebrate the breakthrough of 20 million shipments of LifeBook in Japan factory. The pink gold edition of LifeBook P8010 has a stylish design, that easily stand out from the crowd. It is limited to only 500 units.

Pink Laptop is Getting Popular

Pink laptop is getting popular. Laptop manufacturers who provide pink color option for their product is already seeing this trend:

Because of the exposure of more and more younger age kids to the lsptop PCs, Epson and Sanrio has teamed up to release a new laptop model, NJ2100, with 2 different Hello Kitty designs.

The Hello Kitty Laptop from Epson & Sanrio was released on May 28. The laptop is available in 2 different design: either a floral-inspired or airplane-dominated theme.

As you can see, the NJ2100 Hello Kitty laptop might look like a toy for kids, but it comes with a pretty high-end spec, and the price is pretty as well. But if you are a Hello Kitty's fan, who cares about the price or the spec?


If you are not satisfy with just the the Hello Kitty design laptop, you can choose to spend a little more money for Hello Kitty accessories, such as Hello Kitty mouse & mousepad combos, and a USB memory cellphone strap with connector. They are all available online at the Sanrio website.

Pink Gaming Laptop: Toshiba Qosmio X305

Qosmio X305 is the latest gaming laptop from Toshiba that will be released on 14-July-2008. It will be a pink color laptop, with 17-inch WSXGA+ screen, 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX with turbo cache VRAM, 3Ghz intel dual core processor, Up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and dual high speed 7200RPM hard drives up to 500GB a pop. Other features include the Harmon Kardon stereo speaker system with subwoofer.
