NEC is introducing a new laptop model this month -- the LaVie L Notebook, which will be available in 4 colors: pink, red, white, and black.


The NEC LaVie L Notebook will have the following specs:

• 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 Processor
• 4GB of RAM
• 320GB of HDD
• Intel GM45 Express chipset
• Multi-Card Reader
• Wifi a/b/g/n
• HDMI out and a FeliCa port

Japan consumers are always lucky to get their hands on newly released pink color laptop. The NEC LaVie L Notebook will be released sometime this month in Japan for about 175,000 Yen. No words on when it will be available in other countries yet.

Pink Asus Eee PC S101 Now Available in Japan

Great news for all of us who have an inflated passion for pink -- the pink version of Asus Eee PC S101 is launched in Japan!


The specs for the pink Eee PC S101 remain the same: Intel Atom processor, 16GB SSD, 1GB RAM, and a 10-inch screen. No words on when this pink version of Eee PC S101 will be available outside of Japan. Hopefully we will see it soon.

Dell Adamo - Rival of MacBook Air?

Rumors about Dell Adamo has been widely circulated on the Internet lately.

The rumors started from New York Times. According to them, Dell is coming out with a computer called Adamo that will rival the MacBook Air. They are guessing that Dell’s Adamo is going to be even thinner and lighter than Apple's MacBook Air.

Later on the same day, Engadget has posted more leaked information about Dell Adamo:

• Dell plans to market the machine as the “world’s thinnest laptop,” and it’s definitely going after Macbook Air market share.
• Adamo was slated to be released this month, but has been pushed back until at least February.
• Adamo will sport a black and silver color scheme similar to the Studio XPS 13 pictured above, but “different.”

This could be a good news for pink laptop lovers. Looking at Dell's current laptop product, they are always good at providing various color options to the consumers. We are hoping that they do the same for Adamo, so we will have the world's thinnest pink laptop, which we couldn't get from the MacBook Air currently. ;)

Fujitsu LifeBook A1110 Review

The Fujitsu Lifebook A1110 is a 15.4-inch desktop replacement which comes with a swappable exterior panel and a a spill resistant keyboard. Our favorite part for this laptop is no doubt the colorful swappable snap-on lids which includes a pretty pink butterfly design!


On performance and overall features, the Fujitsu Lifebook A1110 seems to be an average laptop. PCMag has rated it 2.5 out of 5 stars. They found the laptop to be a good performance machine with 3GB of RAM and a decent processor (their review unit comes with a 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5800).They also mentioned that the laptop has an intensely bright screen, and a relatively low price. But on the negative side, they found the laptop battery too small, and the snap-on lids are a bit tacky.

"Bottom Line
The A1110 would fare better against the competition had Fujitsu spent more time designing a sleeker-looking chassis."

Notebook reviews has also done a review for the LifeBook A1110 laptop. While there's no rating given, they have listed down the good and bad this laptop:

MSI VR220 YA Edition Review

Laptop Magazine has recently reviewed the MSI VR220 YA Edition laptop, and rated it 3 out of 5 stars. The specification of the review unit is as follow:

• 12.1-inch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution
• 2 GB RAM
• 250GB 5400rpm HDD
• DVD±RW DL Optical Drive
• Price: $699

The compliments that they have for this machine includes the colorful lid options, extended battery standard, and a much more affordable price compare to other 12-inch ultraportable. Also, if compare this budget 12-inch laptop to a typical netbook, the performance is much better.


Verdict:

"Instead of putting a mini-notebook’s insides into a larger case (as with Dell’s Inspiron Mini 12), MSI took the guts of a budget mainstream notebook and crammed them into a 12-inch chassis to create the VR220. And as with most budget
systems, you have to expect budget performance. While it costs nearly half as much as more traditional 12-inch notebooks, such as the Lenovo ThinkPad X200, it’s not nearly as light, nor does it have the endurance of those systems. But those machines are meant for road warriors with expense accounts. The MSI VR220 is intended for students who need something relatively light and inexpensive for day-to-day tasks. As long as you can live with its subpar keyboard and relatively large size, MSI’s netbook alternative is worth a look."

Other than the black color which may best suit those looking for something more demure, the MSI VR220 YA Edition comes in another 3 attractive summer shades, which include Denim Blue, WASABI Green, and Coral Pink. While Carol pink is definitely our favorite out of all, the other two colors will also be attention getters.

Dell Latitude E4200 Now Available in Pink

We have already seen the picture of Dell Latitude E4200 in Quartz pink back in August, but Dell has not been making it available on their online store until recently, a 'Color package' which offers "Red, Blue or Pink color options, 128GB solid state drive and 3-Year On-Site service after remote diagnosis" is finally available online.

BenQ Joybook Lite U101 Launched

The BenQ Joybook Lite U101 netbook which was announced in September is now available in Taiwan.


The netbook has got a 16:9 display with a 1024 x 576 resolution which is rare for a netbook. Pink Color Asus Eee PC S101

According to Taipei Times, Asustek is going to introduce the limited edition pink S101 netbooks at the Information Technology Month (IT Month) trade show held in Taipei World Trade Center.

A forum member of Eeeuser.com has posted two pictures of a cute lady showing off the pink color S101 netbook.
