Hoping The New MacBook In Pink

The next Apple MacBook event will be held on the coming Tuesday (14-Oct-08). There are rumors that Apple is going to announce a $800 laptop crafted from single pieces of aluminum using a laser and water jet process known by the code-name "brick".

According to 9to5Mac, the new MacBook will come in "two-tone". It will have black (or perhaps other colors) plastic outer shell while incorporating an aluminum inner frame. So far, there's no mention about whether the new MacBook will offer any other color options other than black, but we are hopping that they will release the new MacBook in pink and other attractive colors, just like the new iPod Nano!

Apple Pink Laptop

There's no pink laptop from Apple. Be it MacBook, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air, Apple does not provide pink color option for all of their laptops. But although you can't get a pink laptop directly from the Apple store, there are still a few ways to "create" your own pink MacBook.

1. Colorware


Colorware is a company that provide the service of altering the color of existing products. All Apple laptops, including MacBook, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro can be sent in to the company for re-coloring. It will cost $450 for MacBook & MacBook Pro and $500 for MacBook Air for sending in for re-coloring. 2. Pink Laptop Case


There are quite a number of pink laptop case available for the Apple laptops such as the See-Thru case from Speck, and the Hardshell case from Incase. All of them are pretty cheap (below $50) if compare to the first option, and they provide protection to your MacBook at the same time. 3. Pink Laptop Skin


This is the most un-expensive way to create your own pink MacBook. There are quite a number of company out there that are selling laptop skins on the Internet, and the price is ranged only from $20 to $30. One disadvantage of using a laptop skin is that the Apple logo will be covered up. But if you don't mind, this is actually a good choice for all the girls who love pink color laptop.
