HP Releases Mini Pink Chic Accessory Bundle To Support Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

After Sony announced the two tone pink VAIO W for breast cancer awareness campaign, HP are also following their footstep by releasing Pink Chic Accessory Bundle to raise money for to Susan G. Komen.



While the HP Mini netbook is already available in pink, the company is offering a matching Pink Chic Sleeve and HP Mini Retractable Pink Mouse which can be purchased together with the netbook at just $10 of extra cost. So with $379.99, what you will get is the Mini Pink Chic Accessory Bundle, plus a lovely pink netbook that comes with a 10.1″ screen, 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, 3 cell battery, and Windows XP OS. The bundle will be available until the end of October. HP will donate $1 from every sale.

Second Gen Vivienne Tam Netbook - No Pink But Still Attractive

The second generation of Vivienne Tam netbook is here! Instead of pink peonies, the netbook is designed with a huge butterfly with golden brown background. No pink, but still appealing to women who are high on fashion.


"The new digital clutch design embodies the inspiration for my entire spring collection," said Tam. "When women around the globe carry HP’s digital clutch and wear my clothes, I want them to feel independent and free, like butterflies."

The default components of this netbook will be a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor (N270), 1GB of RAM, 60GBs of hard drive storage, the Windows XP Home operating system, and a three-cell battery.

HP Mini 110 XP Edition Now Available In Pink

New pink netbooks keep coming out recently. HP Mini 110 XP Edition which was introduced just about a month ago is now available in pink. Not only the netbook lid combines pink with a stylish imprint, the keyboard will also be shaded in pink which make the whole netbook looks really attractive.




The HP Mini 110 XP edition is a 10-inch screen netbook with a configurable Intel Atom 270 or 280 CPU, 1GB RAM, and a choice of either a 32GB solid state drive or a 160GB hard drive. The pink colored HP Mini 110 XP edition is now available on HP official store with a starting price of $329.99. Note that the pink version of this netbook will cost extra $20 compared to the black version.

HP Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition Reviewed

The Vivienne Tam edition of HP Mini netbook is reviewed. The folks over at Chip Chick has got their hands on this stylish little netbook and published a great review together with several hands-on photos to let you have a closer look at the lovely netbook.


Overall, they are pretty impressed with the hot pink / fuschia coloring plus the
lovely peony design on the netbook lid, the comfortable keyboard design, and the great system performance. The only few drawbacks for this netbook is the webcam (too dark), the uncomfortable trackpad layout, and the price which is higher than average netbook.

Here's the conclusion of the review:

"Overall, we are quite taken with the HP VT edition. It’s a beauty to behold and luckily, its looks aren’t superficial since it also performs well. Granted the VT is no desktop replacement notebook by far, but
the good performance on the VT combined with its quality hardware make it a serious competitor in the Netbook marketplace. That said we do have a few minors gripes. Most notably is its underperforming webcam.

The VT Edition with a 60GB hard drive retails for $699 and includes 1 year accidental coverage as well as a 1 year warranty. Overall, the most challenging aspect ofthe VT is its $699 price tag, which makes it a highend, high cost netbook. Unfortunately, the same rule that applies in the fashion world, applies here - you’re gonna pay more for something that looks good - and hopefully makes you feel good too. Is it worth the $699 price tag? Any higher then that, and we’d say they were really pushing it. But if you can afford it, and looks are just important to you as substance, then the price tag wont bother you that much. Especially when you get oohs and ahhs from your friends while you sashes along with the VT edition under your arm. We’ll be taking the VT edition with us use to blog with at CES to and we look forward to spending more time with it, particularly to see how well the battery holds up. We’re sure well have even more to say after taking it to Vegas with us."

HP has recently released the Mini 1000 netbook which will be replacing the Mini 2133 Mini-Note. While this new model of netbook is already available on HP stores now, what we are interested here on Pink Laptop Blog, is the Vivienne Tam edition which is expected to be available on December.


The Vivienne Tam Edition of HP Mini 1000 will come in vibrant red accentuated by peony-flower designs, 10.2-inch display, runs on Windows XP Home, and comes packed with Ethernet Jack, USB ports, Wifi and soon 3G capabilities. Other features includes Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, Brightview widescreen display, flush glass and LED backlight, built-in webcam and microphone.

HP Clutch Handbag Laptop With Pink Flower Design

Combining fashion and technology, Hewlett-Packard has announced the Digital Clutch Notebook, which is a special edition laptop designed by fashion designer Vivienne Tam.


The laptop unveiled at New York's Fashion Week is about the size of a clutch handbag, with gleaming red surface bursting with pink and purple peony flowers design. Also, the 'Enter' key of the laptop is emblazoned with the Chinese symbol for double happiness.


While the Digital Clutch Notebook itself is not totally in pink, we think that it's truly gorgeous and unique, and would definitely be appealing to women of all ages. The estimated available date for the special edition laptop will be early next year. No technical spec is available at this time.
