The only difference is the 1366 x 768 screen resolution that's higher than most other 10-inch netbook.

The VAIO CS is fresh and colorful, and sheer style is going to be a big part of its appeal, but it’s clever as well as beautiful. While we think that the pink laptop is trendy and fashionable, it's interesting to note that the dude over at Tech Digest predicts that the Bubblegum pink version of CS11 will be the first to get a price cut due to poor sales.. We'll see how it goes, but we believe that there must be a reason for Sony to continue including pink color option to their new laptop models (better sales maybe? ).

Pros Amazing LED backlit screen Almost seven hours of battery life SSD Hard Drive
Cons Bottom gets very hot, pants required.
Conclusion Compared against every other ultra portable notebook I have worked with, the Sony TZ was by far the brightest, lightest, and smallest of the bunch. The screen was gourgeous, battery life was excellent, and the notebook barely weighed anything. I would recommend this notebook to anything considering a portable laptop, especially those who demand the lightest possible items for travel.
The CR series from Sony VAIO has a very stylish and colorful outfit that will certainly appears attractive to the the style-concious laptop users. There are several colors available for the Sony VAIO CR series, and the cosmopolitan pink is one of them (VGN-CR490EBP). With a 14.1 inch display, the Sony VAIO CR series have 1.67 inch of thickness and weight 5.5 pounds. Sony has officially catogarized the CR laptop into the thin-and-light class. It is however find to be slightly heavier and thicker than the standard size of thin-and-light laptop. But this shouldn't be a major issue since the the CR series laptop will most probably serve as a popular multimedia device for college students who don't really find size and weight an issue.
In terms of performance, the Sony VAIO CR series is available with the latest generation Core 2 Duo processor with Centrino Pro platform, and up to 4 GB of RAM which gives it a really good performance. Here's the detail specification for the Sony VAIO CR series laptop:

One of the great features for the VAIO CR series, is the AV mode that allows us to directly view pictures and movies without having to start up Windows. So when you get a Sony CR series, you are getting not just a stylish laptop, but also a portable multimedia device.
The battery life of the Sony VAIO CR series is between 2 to 3.5 hours, which is acceptable, but one issue with the battery is it can easily get loose when you forget to lock it. Watch this video for the demonstration of the battery issue.
In conclusion, the Sony VAIO CR pink laptop is nice looking, and the performance is great. There's a slight issue known for its battery, but it can be avoided as long as you remember to always lock it.
